This portable sharpener does not require cables or plugs as it is battery operated (4 x AA, not included) which makes it more convenient and simpler to use at any time and in any location. As it is also lightweight and compact, it takes up minimal space when stored. It includes instructions for use and a tray to collect the metal shavings and particles that come loose during the sharpening process.
